The BHANA Benevolence Committee works with in our community to ease the
difficulty of a family or individual.
The committee works:
- with elementary school children to help with back to school
supplies and sometimes is able to help with school uniforms
- with Thanksgiving baskets for families that are having a rough time
- with families at Christmas time to help with gifts for children
that might not otherwise be celebrating Christmas
- with families suffering from an emergency, such as a home fire
- with children at Easter time with an Easter Egg Hunt, usually at
our Community Garden
If you are aware of someone in the Beacon Hill community than needs a hand,
contact Lucy or Lola. They keep the information they receive confidential.
If you would like to contribute money to the Benevolence Fund to help us with these projects, please contact Lola or Lucy.
